Rancho MargotI completed my Yoga Alliance Registered 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2015 with Black Swan Yoga in Austin, TX.  This foundational training followed the traditional Eight-Limb Path of Yoga, with an emphasis on Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Chakra Psychology. Since completing this training, I have diversified my offerings through immersions in Kundalini, Chakra Therapy, Body Biomechanics, and Breathing/Meditation. In 2016 I became a certified Onnit Academy Foundations Trainer, deepening my understanding of the body in motion, focusing on injury prevention, strength building, and smart recovery. A year later, I completed the requirements to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Texas and began working in a clinical bodywork setting. This fusion of bodywork, exercise, and yoga creates the opportunity for therapy rooted in movement, and movement as therapy.

In my classes you can expect an alignment-based practice with a heavy emphasis on safety, strength, and play. In deep reverence to the Self, we honor that each body is beautifully unique and naturally perfect. I offer a wide range of energetic practices- from slow and heady to strong and powerful. On occasion, I will also incorporate smart bodyweight movements for improved muscle durability, growth, and recovery. As a bodyworker, you can expect some juicy hands-on adjustments and use of essential oils to enhance your experience.

Workshops and Specialties

  • Anatomy of Asana: Posture Clinic 

In this workshop, we will explore the functional anatomy of several foundational yoga asanas with the intention of observing our beautiful and unique bodies as they portray different poses. Students will learn about their own body structures and develop new goals for work within a posture- expanding/strengthening range of motion suitable to each body rather than trying to fit a mold. We will use creative breath, props, and revelry to arrive at new levels of muscle engagement and “finding the alignment.” Participants will also gain an understanding of the basic actions of the muscles and how they relate from pose to pose so that they can creatively apply what they learn to various asanas.

This clinic great for all levels of yogis, especially those looking to deepen their flexibility and/or bring strength to hyper-mobility. Proper alignment is a key component of injury prevention, both on and off the mat; Together, will journey through the body to find what alignment feels like in YOUR body.   • Power and Peace
Join me for a free 90-minute practice comprised of a powerful flow followed by revitalizing yin + adjustments, aromatherapy, pranayama, meditation, and journaling.
This intentional practice will bring awareness to the cycles of the nervous system throughout a yang and yin practice, honoring that both are within us at all times and it is up to us to discern the proper application of each. A bit of guided journaling at the end of practice is an invitation to take note of post-practice feelings and begin to identify habits and moods associated with different stimuli both on and off the mat. Students can expect to feel challenged in new ways, ultimately unlocking a deeper sense of Power and Peace. This class is appropriate for all levels of practitioners, especially those interested in exploring a new style of Yoga. Throughout class we will discuss the benefits of both Yin and Power, helping to make the agreement that both have a place in our self care routine. Students are encouraged to bring their own journal if they have one, otherwise materials will be provided.

Each class is tailored to your individual needs and includes a pre-session consultation/goal setting workshop. Learn at your pace, for your goals, and see your transformation.     • One-on-One: $40 for 60 minutes. Please add $10 for each additional person (Up to four; For groups of 5 or more a flat rate of $100/class)
